Replacement Granular Activated Carbon ( GAC) GAC-10 Filter from the American Pentair in size 10". The filter has a polypropylene melt filter at the inlet and outlet with permeability of 20 microns. The GAC-10 is one of the best in its class, having advantages such as the high quality activated carbon with a high percentage of iodine, the amount of activated carbon it has inside and the 20 micron polypropylene filters it has at the filter inlet and outlet.
GAC activated carbon filters are now the ideal solution in both reverse osmosis systems as pre-filters and double or triple under-bench filtration systems.
Pentair's GAC-10 based on laboratory measurements removes 75% free chlorine in continuous flow at a concentration of 2ppm.
