Complete water softening system consisting of:

The volumetric head can be adjusted according to the hardness of the area (for example an area with a hardness of 12dH can give about 7 cubic meters in 25 liters of resin). There is also the possibility to set regeneration times from 0.5 to 99 days depending on the requirements.
Then we set the time we want the machine to regenerate, we prefer evening hours when there is no consumption.
Regeneration takes about 120 minutes. During the regeneration the water supply does not stop, it will simply be with the hardness of the network.
The volumetric head does not have ready-made regeneration programs such as time, but based on the hardness of the water and the liters of resin we have, we program it. Depending on the program we have the corresponding salt consumption.

Dupont DOW DOWEX HCR-S/S Softening Resin
Dupont Dow Chemicals is the world's largest resin manufacturer. Based in USA, it counts over 600 resins specialized for hundreds of applications.
The resin we use DOWEX HCR-S/S is a strong cationic suitable for potable water softening applications. It is WQA certified to NSF/ANSI-61 and complies with the US FDA Regulation 21 CFR 173.25. The resin absorbs the Calcium Ca2+ and Magnesium Mg2+ ions, elements which make up the hardness of the water, the so-called salts. The resin is charged with Na+ ions and has a total capacity of 1.9 eq/L. Each time it becomes saturated it will need regeneration with >99.5% purity sodium chloride (salt). 
Conditions for Correct Operation of the Softener.
- If the mains pressure is above 6 bar, a pressure reducer is recommended.
- Installation of a sediment filter before the softener inlet to protect the head.
- It is recommended to use salt in tablets due to its high purity.
