Brita's reliable Systematic Filter Technology descales water in four steps:

1 pre-filtration
The pre-filter holds the solid particles.

2 Reduction of carbonate hardness
The filter media reduces the hardness of the carbonate to reduce scale formation.

3 Active carbon filtration
All water – including bypass water – is passed through an activated carbon filter to reduce substances that affect taste and aroma.

4 Fine filtering
