The Pentair GE Merlin 3038333 Fibredyne Technology Activated Carbon Prefilter reduces chlorine, particulate matter, organics and volatile compounds prior to the reverse osmosis membrane stage. The active carbon filter uses modified carbon block with fibredyne technology making it 3 times better than classic active carbon filters in retaining solid particles.
