Hanna HI775-26 is a reagent for the HI-775 Freshwater Alkalinity Checker® HC.
HI775-26 are high-quality reagents that are pre-calibrated, allowing users to achieve fast and accurate readings with the Freshwater Alkalinity Tester®.
These reagents follow the colorimetric method in which the reaction causes the development of a distinct spectrum of colors from yellow to green to blue.
By simply adding a drop of Chlorine Remover to remove chlorine interference and then adding 1 mL of Alkalinity Reagent to the sample, the reaction will occur and the HI-775 will determine the concentration from the color produced.
Results will be displayed in ppm CaCO3. These reagents are designed for use with samples that have an expected range of 0 to 500 ppm CaCO3.
