OKO Original Level 2 Blue Bottle with Water Filter 650ml

OKO combines water filtration technology originally designed for use on NASA's International Space Station with a sleek design made from 100% FDA compliant materials. This combination gives us a unique bottle which is light, flexible and can offer us quality water from countless water sources in more than 140 countries.
The OKO Level-2 replacement uses two filters: an activated carbon filter and an electro-adsorption filter sourced from NASA in collaboration with Argonide and Ahlstrom.
With a 378 liter filter capacity, the OKO level-2 filter (included in every bottle) has been lab tested to remove 99.99% of giardia lamblia & cryptosporidium, two of the most common contaminants detected in open water sources of water worldwide.

Bottle Information

OKO's patented water bottle is made from a blend of plastics that have passed the FDA's most stringent SGS food contact safety testing. The bottle cap is made of Tritan®, a clear BPA-free hard plastic renowned for its durability. The body of the bottle is made of ultra-lightweight polypropylene material commonly used in food storage containers. Due to its high temperature resistance, its material does not emit chemicals or odors when exposed to the sun.

It has a Carabiner ring for carrying or hanging the bottle.


OKO Level-2 Filter Features.

OKO Level-2 filtering technology was originally developed for NASA and used on the ISS (International Space Station). Simply put, it is the most advanced water filtration technology.

In addition to its 2 micron pore size, the material uses a silver-enriched and positively charged nano-fiber membrane with an electro-adsorption (attraction and retention) process to attract and trap harmful agents much smaller than its pore size in instantaneous time. The filter materials are in accordance with the FDA regulation and meet the requirements of NSF/ANSI 42. In this way and according to laboratory tests based on NSF/ANSI Standard 53, it removes 99.99% of e-coli bacteria and 99.99% cryptosporidia and giardia lamblia.
