The ECOZONE resin material of the Ecosoft Scalex filter reacts with the salts in the water preventing the formation of salts on the resistors. It is important to know that the Scalex filter does not soften the water, but is a composition that breaks down the salts thus protecting the resistances of the boilers, water heaters and exchangers.

Use

The Ecosoft Scalex filter is designed for use in cold tap water only.

The life of the filter is up to 20,000 liters. But tap water contains a large number of various impurities, organic compounds, heavy metals, chlorine, etc. which reduce the effectiveness of the filter.
