With weak cationic resin in gel form (carboxylic resins) to reduce general hardness and carbonate hardness without reducing the pH level.The Hydra DS XL also has activated carbon in the first stage (activate carbon block 0.5 micron) to remove chlorine, pathogenic organisms, etc. that negatively affect the taste of the coffee.
The cartridge has a built-in bypass with a fixed setting at 15% to provide the desired hardness and alkalinity for perfect drinks and espresso.Hydra DS XL is the ideal solution to protect your equipment from scale deposits as well as an excellent result in the quality of production water for perfect and balanced drinks.
The advantage of the Hydro DS XL is that it does not need a head. The upper part of the cartridge has a 3/8” male thread inlet and outlet to snap the spirals.
